This term in Science, Form II have been learning how seeds and bulbs grow. In their first lesson, they planted some runner beans to observe the fascinating process of germination firsthand.
Last week, they learnt about the differences between seeds and bulbs and then planted some bulbs to continue their observation. This week, we set up a comparative test to determine which conditions are required for germination (water/no water; light/dark).
The girls have really enjoyed this topic and are excited to hopefully take some of their growing plants home at the end of term!Â
