Guests were treated to a truly spectacular display of musical talent at the first in a series of wonderful concerts held at the Prep School on Thursday evening. Over the course of an hour and a quarter, the room was filled with exquisite music performed by our very own Director of Music, Dr Zacharias, Cyrill Ibrahim, a visiting music teacher from Queen’s, and Simona Mihai. The audience was captivated throughout, spellbound by the exceptional quality of the performance.
One guest commented: ‘It’s not often that you get not one but three world-class musicians performing in a prep school. We were dazzled by technique and musicality in a very well-chosen programme which appealed to both young pupils and parents. When Simona Mihai started singing, the Hall was filled by the power and colours of her voice. How generous of them all to perform for us and introduce us to their art.’
