This half term, Form I are continuing their learning about animals, with a focus on classifying species based on their physical features and behavioural characteristics. To launch the topic, the children took part in a hands-on animal-handling workshop delivered by Animals UK Ltd.
During the session, they had the opportunity to meet and hold a variety of fascinating creatures, while learning about their habitats, diets, and adaptations for survival. The workshop brought their science learning to life and sparked thoughtful discussions and curious questions. It was a thoroughly engaging and memorable experience that helped lay the foundations for their work this term.
