Last week, Form I were very surprised to have spotted a T-Rex wondering outside in front of Door 61. Things got even more surprising this week when a teacher managed to catch the T-Rex stomping around the Library and took a video! Rushing to explore, Form I were amazed to see marks on the floor and a huge nest, hiding in the fireplace. It was filled with fragile eggs and the girls decided that the mysterious dinosaur was being compassionate and trying to protect them!
This inspired Form I to write about what creature could be inside. They read the story of ‘Wild Things’, about a fantasy dream land, to help them think of ideas when designing their own creature and were excited to try using ‘colour metaphors’.
