What an amazing informal concert to be part of and apparently one of the biggest ever: 20 incredible performances from 22 wonderful performers.
It was my first time, and what a blend of excitement and nerves as I was sitting watching so many outstanding performances before I went up myself, including several amazing songs from my Class 3 friends. I was truly blown away by the array of talent, instruments and songs, from Handel to Sondheim, and Evita to Elphaba. A huge thank you to Mr Hughes for organising and inspiring everyone and for playing so many songs so brilliantly. The applause and cheers in the room after each performance was so inspiring, and I can’t wait for the next one!
