This week, the IS (Lower Sixth) Politics class visited the Houses of Parliament and the Supreme Court. We had an excellent tour of Parliament, exploring the House of Commons, the House of Lords, and Westminster Hall. It was fascinating to see these historic spaces in person and connect them to what we’ve learned in our Politics lessons. We even spotted some famous MPs – well, Gavin Williamson!
After this, we crossed the road to the Supreme Court, where we explored its engaging museum and enjoyed a visit to the gift shop. Overall, it was a highly insightful and enjoyable day. Eloise (IS)Â
