Form V had an exciting history lesson discovering all about the suffragettes. They explored primary sources such as newspaper clippings and protest photographs, using their Thinking Crowns to approach the topic from different perspectives. For example, the Positive Crown encouraged discussion about why the movement was successful, while the Feelings Crown helped them consider how women felt during this time. Girls in Pankhurst House were especially delighted to share their own knowledge about their House’s inspirational figure.
