As part of their science lessons, the Form III girls carried out an engaging experiment to investigate the function of leaves in plant growth.
They prepared three plant pots, each labelled according to the number of leaves left on the plant: one with all leaves, one with half of the leaves removed, and one with no leaves at all. The plants were kept in the same warm, well-lit environment and watered regularly. The girls recorded their observations and made detailed drawings to track any changes over time.
This hands-on investigation helped them explore how leaves contribute to a plant’s health and growth.
