During DT Day this week, Form V (Year 5) embarked on an exciting project to create motorised vehicles. Throughout the day, they demonstrated incredible curiosity by exploring and experimenting with new concepts and techniques. The girls embraced each task with determination, quickly learning how to create circuits offering each other support along the way.
What stood out most was their resilience: they embraced challenges, learned from their mistakes and continued to push forward until they achieved functioning cars. Most importantly, a lot of fun was had and the girls very proudly show cased their impressive creations at the end of the day.Â
“DT day can be hard, but I enjoy pushing myself to make different things that I wouldn’t otherwise make.”
“DT day is a great way to learn and have fun.”
“It was extremely creative, and I loved earning our value stickers throughout the day.”
