Form III have been very busy learning all about the human body particularly muscles and movement and bones and skeletons!
The girls explored how muscles support our bodies and enable movement and spent a wonderful afternoon outside in the sunshine, engaging in various exercises whilst trying to identify the muscles at work. From squats and sit ups to glute bridges and calf raises, they observed how different muscle groups played a role in each movement, deepening their understanding of how our bodies stay strong and active.
Furthermore, the girls drew some fabulous, detailed skeletons which they carefully illustrated noting key bones such as the skull, ribcage, and spine, while also adding important soft organs like the heart, lungs, and brain. This hands-on activity helped them understand how the skeletal and organ systems work together, making the learning experience both fun and educational.
