Cultural Diversity Day

This week, our girls took part in a wonderful Cultural Diversity Day, celebrating the many cultures that make up our school community.

Pupils arrived dressed in clothes from their own cultures, and it was lovely to see such a range of colours and traditions represented in the school. Throughout the day, the girls “travelled” around the world visiting different classrooms, each set up to represent a different country. They made Greek vases in Greece, enjoyed colouring in India, created and decorated traditional necklaces in Kenya, made Carnival masks in Brazil, and tried their hand at Mandarin writing in China. At each stop, they collected passport stamps and learned something new.

It was a fun, engaging day for everyone involved, with plenty of new experiences and shared stories along the way.
