The Reception girls have been enjoying playing ‘Beans’ this week as part of their PSHE lessons.

This term the focus has been on ‘Healthy Me.’ To compliment this learning, Reception have completed different exercises each week and this week, their activity involved playing ‘Beans’ in the garden, where each type of bean corresponded to a different movement: baked beans where the children pretended to sunbathe; runner beans ran; jelly beans, shook; jumping beans jumped; broad beans made broad shapes; chilli beans shivered; and string beans held hands with other children.

The teachers called a bean name, and the girls acted out the corresponding action.  What ‘bean – tastic’ fun!
