Favourite place you have ever visited?
I am very fortunate to have grown up with my parents who love to travel, and one that works for an airline, as this means I have had the opportunity to see some very beautiful places. This may be cheating but I have two favourite places: the first would be a trip to Banff with my family whilst journeying through the Rocky Mountains from Calgary to Vancouver. The other must be St Lucia, where I was lucky enough to spend my 25th birthday exploring the La Soufrière volcano in glorious Caribbean sunshine!

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
It is a waste of energy to focus on something you have no control over. This piece of advice comes from my mum who I am very close to. I remember completing my A-levels and spending the time before results day worrying constantly about whether I had made it into the university of my choice. My mum simply had to tell me that worrying wouldn’t change the outcome. She relates this advice to the concept of the more time and energy we spend on the things we can’t control the less time and energy we spend on things that we can actually make a difference to.

Ideal restaurant meal option
After visiting Tuscany, where I had the most delicious meal in the hills, overlooking the Chianti Region, Italian food is now the way to my heart! I love all things pizza, pasta and cannoli!

What scene in a movie always gives you goosebumps every time you watch it?
I’m really exposing myself here… but I am a hopeless romantic and when Sandy sings ‘Hopelessly Devoted To You’ in the movie Grease, I not only get goosebumps, but I just have to sing my heart out alongside her!

What do you wish someone taught you a long time ago?
I have always thoroughly enjoyed watching the glamour of dancing on ice and I really wish I could ice skate!

What book had the most significant impact on you?
I recently read Atomic Habits by James Clear, and I loved the concept of aiming to be 1% better each day, which equates to being 37 times better after one year.

Tell us something you are good at that may surprise us
Growing up, I was an avid gymnast and made it to competing at regional level all before the age of 10. Please don’t ask me to drop down into the splits anytime soon, but I can show you an amazing cartwheel or two!

What, in your opinion, is the most amazing animal?
Once penguins have decided on a partner, they search long and hard for the perfect gift to present their new love. This comes in the form of a beautiful, smooth pebble. This pebble acts as a representation of their love and their commitment to creating a future together and I think that is magical!

What TV show are you hooked on or were recently hooked on?
Lockdown and Judge Judy went hand in hand for my mum and me. We’ve watched about 2000 episodes and just have 5,164 to go…

If you had to lose one of your senses, which would you choose to lose?
This is a tough question, however, as many of my friends have told me, my sense of smell is the worst. Given this, I wouldn’t mind losing it as I seem to have lived long enough without now.

Has there ever been a time when something so amazing or unexpected happened that it literally left you speechless for a time?
Taking a speed boat out to the middle of the Caribbean Sea to feed the stingrays. The water was crystal clear, and my dad and I were having the best time until my mum screamed when she saw a giant jellyfish heading our way… and when I say giant, I mean GIANT (I have picture proof!).

What card or board games do you like to play?
Whilst away in Dubai last summer, my partner introduced me to Monopoly Deal. Now this may not sound at all exciting but considering Monopoly (the board game) is forbidden in my household (nooo, not because I am a sore loser!), it was so nice to find an alternative to force, oops I mean, enjoyably entice, my friends and family to play!
